Hi! I'm Megan. I'm a certified yoga instructor based on Staten Island and I want to let you in on a little secret:
Public classes filled with dozens of sweaty strangers is not your only option. (Bonus: Touching your toes is not a prerequisite, either!)
As someone who was once an uber beginner, I understand how intimidating (and potentially awkward) learning something new in a large group setting can be. How on earth are you supposed to twist like a pretzel, not fall over and/or pass out, focus your drishti (what is that even!?), stand on your head, AND translate Sanskrit all while finding inner peace?
It is definitely not easy. And that is why I'm here.
My one-on-one and small-group sessions makes it easier for you to learn the essentials of yoga safely, easily, and comfortably. We'll sit down together to go over what it is that you want to accomplish with your yoga practice. Afterwards, I'll design your "classes" to meet your unique needs. In your personalized yoga class you'll be able to:
